Ingleton
Home > Ingleton | The caves of Ingleton have been famous for centuries. The hidden world of White Scar Caves takes you on an underground tour for eighty minutes. It is open all year round and is located just outside of Ingleton on the B6255 road to Hawes. Waterfalls are another natural attraction in Ingleton, and organised waterfall walks take place through woodland gorges with spectacular scenery. The trail is open everyday from 9am, there is a small entrance charge for the upkeep of the paths. | |
 | There is a wide array of amenities in Ingleton, including tearooms, mountain bike hire shops, and fish and chip shops. A range of accommodation options is available from farmhouse bed and breakfasts to country inns. Self-catering accommodation can be found in holiday cottages, converted barns, and camping and caravan sites nearby. |
| Located right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, just off the A65, between Settle and Kirkby Lonsdale; it is well worth a visit. (Photos courtesy of Adrian Brown) |
