Brough
Home > Brough | In the past Brough has been linked with notorious highwayman Dick Turpin. Rumour says that Turpin used The Ferry Inn in Brough as a watering hole during his last days of freedom. In the 1900s Brough became a hive of activity as home of The Blackburn Aircraft Company. Today the Blackburn Aircraft Company is known as British Aerospace and has produced some spectacular planes including the Hawk or T45, which has seen the world over as part of the RAF aerobatic display team ‘The Red Arrows’. |
| Being in close proximity to Hull there are many places to stay near Brough, including self catering accommodation, hotels, bed and breakfasts and camping sites. |
